Last year I went to Amdo , the northeastern region of Tibet , with my teachers and friends from the Thousand Stars foundation. I took this shot with Kodak tri-X B&W film.

After my friend developed and printed it , I added the stamp color just for fun. Some people call this way 'hand colour'.

The cloud is semi Tibetan - Chinese style. I want the line to be smoother but it's not easy to control because this photographic paper is semi gloss type. It's hard to paint or drag the brush . The paper surface does not made to do such things like this.

If my Tibetan friends , the Thangka painters , saw this , they surely say " Fine ..... do it again "
