Description
Mamo....or maybe mama Ekajati.
The name Ekajati literally means "one whose hair is arranged in single chignon." ( เอกชฎี - เอกชฎา )
Ekajati is most often portrayed as a ferocious goddess. She has a single open eye in the center of the forehead. From her mouth, a single fang protrudes.
She has only one breast ( which in Thangka ,the traditional Tibetan painting, it's drooping and hanging down to the chest....but I really hate to do ).
These are symbolic of non-duality.
Her hips are covered with a tiger-skin. A long necklace of skulls adorns her body. In her right hand she waves a stabbed human corpse. With her left hand she pulls a heart from the wrathful offering altar.
I really like her details because they can cover my weakness in figure drawing
And I hope to paint her someday.....after I figure out how the story and the background should be.
